PREREQUISITE: Students are not required to complete Book 1 to start in Book 2; I will give the song download from Book 1 to students that don’t have it. That gives these kids more words per week, but they are older and do fine, especially since the songs teach the words. But both new and returning students should be planning to work on this at home, if they want to make progress. Course Description:
Song School Spanish Book 2 continues the introduction to Spanish started in Book 1. Each weekly lesson has vocabulary introduced through song and a little written work. Students will learn more than 125 everyday Spanish vocabulary words for people, places, things, actions, feelings, questions, days of the week, months of the year, the weather, and more. In class we will review the songs and words and play games with our new words. By the end of the year, we will begin working with verb tenses and such so that the students who wish to continue on with their Spanish will be in a good place to do so.
