Introduction to Machine Sewing

Class Description: This class is for 5th - 8th grade students wishing to learn how to use a sewing machine.
The first few weeks of the semester students will learn the working parts of their machine, how to
clean their machines, change and thread the sewing machine needle and how to change the bobbin.
The students will learn basic sewing stitches, and then we will be making simple sewing projects. 

Requirements: Sewing machine, basic sewing kit and two pairs of scissors. 
Tuition and Fees: $35.00 per month tuition plus $30.00 for fabric and project patterns. Additional supplies may need to be purchased.
