Prerequisite: Students should be fluent in basic addition and subtraction and understand place value in three-digit numbers
About the Course: This class is an extension of the math students are working on at home and designed to deepen the understanding of key math concepts using manipulatives and games! Throughout the year, we will be focusing on various mathematical concepts and understanding the importance of math in our daily lives. Concepts will include telling time, counting money, division, multiplication, area, perimeter, reading graphs, fractions, and units of measurement.
Each week will consist of learning a new topic and an activity to follow. I look forward to exploring these concepts together while having fun! Questions? Email me at [email protected]
