Students will also learn how to use a capo and pick as well as how to tune their guitar. In addition to learning how to play an acoustic guitar, students will praise God through music. This 30-minute class will consist of a musician’s devotional in addition to practicing fundamental guitar skills.

She has been playing guitar for about three years and played piano for several years before that. Last year, she led sports devotionals for her homeschool volleyball team as faith is an essential part of all activities. This is why she plans to incorporate devotionals specific to music during these classes. She is a part of her church’s youth group worship team as a guitarist and vocalist. Her favorite pastime is praising the Lord through song and strings.
