Elementary Spanish I 4th-6th Grade
Instructor: Cindi Cartwright
Prerequisites: none
Grade Level: 4th-6th
Fees: $35 monthly tuition, plus a $40 each semester copy fee
• Spanish for You “Conversaciones” paperback text, which I order all together to save shipping
• an MP3 player, CD player, or a parent who’s willing to share music/conversations from their phone
Spanish-For-You has ‘theme packs’ and the one we’re doing this year is “Conversaciones”. This is a
conversational approach, but we’ll also be learning how to conjugate verbs and construct sentences along the
way. We will talk and play games in class—and even sing! There are audio downloads of the lessons and a few
songs that I can put on a CD for each student, or I can send you the download for an MP3 player or adult’s
phone.
Students will need to work on their Spanish at home for at least 20 minutes four times a week, with rewards in
class for doing so. Nerly Ovrebo, who is currently teaching High School Spanish is ready to begin teaching
High School Spanish III and IV as soon as we have students ready! Let’s work together to raise up some
children who are truly bilingual.

We Would Love to Have You Visit Soon!
