Zoology

Students will study various groups of animals in detail, including but not limited to the ungulates, arthropods, bears, primates, rodents, reptiles, birds, and many other groups. Animal habitat, behavior, life cycles and interaction with ecosystems will also be a part of the course. Labs will be limited and focused on a few dissections, the odd microscope lab, studies of flight, and short videos and documentaries on the subject.

Weekly homework, reading, and bi-weekly tests will constitute the workload for the class; students will likely need 3-5 hours per week outside of class in preparation and study.
