Materials
1 portable sewing machine in good working condition
1-2 manufacturer recommended bobbins. Most machines come with some. We will have a few extras on hand but can’t guarantee we have some to fit all machines.
Basic notions (scissors, pins, snips, iron, etc.) will be provided during in class projects.
Fabric and thread for projects will be provided.
If you do not have a sewing machine, please contact Brenda to discuss options.
About the Course
Beginning sewing course for middle school and up students. Students will learn basic sewing machine operations and beginning machine stitches to use for monthly projects. Other skills needed (ironing, cutting, pinning, etc.) will be covered throughout the course.
