About the Course
In this ASL class we will learn to fingerspell (ABC’s), numbers to 20, learn how to introduce ourselves, learn pronouns, daily conversations, some grammar of ASL, politeness, descriptions, and requests. We will also learn the Pledge of Allegiance and some traditional hymns. Each week we will add new vocabulary words and each week an exam will be given over the information we have previously learned.
The Oklahoma School for the Deaf in Sulphur, Oklahoma offers an ASL 1 online class. It is a wonderful way to be able to practice on a daily basis. Classes, even though online, are limited so when the window to enroll is open, I highly recommend this class.
