Business/Entrepreneurship Basics with LEGO®: How to start your own business
Instructor: Nate Boon
Grades: 9th-12th
Tuition and Fees: $35 per month plus $20 supply fee
Prerequisites None
Objective: We will work through the basics of some of the key concepts of how to start and run a
business to include, supply and demand, economics, product creation, branding and presenting
business concepts. Students will use physical bricks to build 3D models representing abstract
business concepts, strategies, or challenges. Students will work together in teams but also work
individually on their own specific business plan. The course will include public speaking and financial
concepts.

Instructor, I am the co-owner of Bricker Bricker 1-9, a LEGO resale store. I have my Masters of Divinity
in Theology and was a Navy Chaplain for over 12 years. I was an instructor for over 8 years while in
the Navy, teaching many different topics. I have been married for 20 years and have 6 children, with 4
currently attending ECHO.
