This course would give a strong focus on how we effectively and responsibly use and take
care of the land and animals the Lord has given us. . This course will go through land and
water conservation, plant and animal life that is specifically farm to table, technology and
mechanics used in modern agriculture, the history of agriculture failures and successes.
Students will have many activities that could include but is not limited to: Starting a garden,
raising a small animal, dioramas, build hydroponic systems, model irrigation, experiments
that help teach scientific theory, write short reports. Students will be given the tools to
identify different livestock breeds and have a greater understanding of animal husbandry.
This course can be tailored for multiple age groups.
