1. Course description: Exploring Creation with Physics will be a class devoted to understanding the fundamental science of physics and how it relates to linear motion, gravity, momentum, periodic motion, waves, electricity, optics, and magnetism. Algebra 1 is required as a prerequisite, and Physical Science is also a good idea. Trigonometry is not required, although it is helpful if a student has taken it or takes it concurrently.
2. Course expectations: Students should plan on attending each lecture, and asking questions for problems they found difficult. Students should expect to study about an hour a day for this class, some might make it on less, but most will need more. A weekly homework assignment and a test every two chapters will make up the majority of the class work. Some of the chapters are quite a bit harder than others, and we will take more time on them.
3. Materials needed: Scientific calculator, textbook, writing utensils and a way to take notes.
