Course Description: In this engaging experiment -based comprehensive Life Science course, students will explore the fascinating world of plants, the human body, and animals through hands-on experiments and projects. By examining God’s creation, students will understand how living organisms work and interact in the world He designed.
•Plants: Learn how plants grow, reproduce, and their role in God’s creation. Students will conduct experiments to observe plant growth, photosynthesis, and plant life cycles.
•Human Body: We will dive into the amazing human body, discovering how each system (like the nervous, circulatory, respiratory, and digestive systems) works together.)
•Animals: Study the characteristics of animals, from the simplest to the most complex creatures.
Each lesson will incorporate Biblical principles, showing how science reflects God’s wisdom and design in the natural world. Through experimentation and projects, students will develop a deeper appreciation for life’s intricacies and God’s creation.
This class will have hands on projects each week in class with additional coursework sent home to be completed and brought back to class the following week. The class will also have quizzes, tests, and final projects for each unit. I am anticipating approximately 1- 1.5 hours of homework each week to have a complete science course. If you have additional questions please feel free to contact me at [email protected]
