About the Course
This survey of world history will cover 1000 years, from 1000 AD to 2000 AD. We will build timelines as we look at the major (and minor, but interesting!) points of history starting with Vikings, Kublai Khan and castles right on through the World Wars and computers. We will be covering 1000 years in about 30 lessons, so we will be moving fast! There will be a PowerPoint each week filled with pictures and notebook pages about each subject—by the end of the year, the students will have built a book with a timeline. Homework will be less than two hours most weeks. If your student needs more of a challenge, I can send home the homework for the older class.
